Training

Peak Boxing Club we offer full boxing training for everyone from total beginners to the more advanced boxer. We have all the equipment and coaches needed to give you the full training that you require.

Joining a Boxing Club for the first time can be daunting. Just remember all our members were new once, therefore will make you feel welcome and part of the peak family.

Do not want to compete! That is fine even if you want to train just to keep fit & healthy then you are more than welcome. We do not pressure anyone into signing up to a fight. There are many reasons to exercise regularly; above all, it keeps you healthy.

We have all the required equipment, such as gloves and head guards available for use within the club free of charge. However, we do recommend that you bring your own hand wraps and suitable footwear. As you progress we recommend that you purchase your own gloves as gym gloves are constantly in use and by other members..

We also offer Pay As You Go at Peak which is £4.50 Juniors & £8 Seniors Per Class or you can sign up as a member, our membership prices are below.

One 2 Ones

One 2 One training can have its advantages as the coach can dedicate his or her time totally to you on a personal level. This means spending more time teaching all aspects of the sport more in depth.

We also have private 1-1 Pad sessions, 30 minutes of nonstop pad work. This is good for a number of things, including fitness, speed & coordination and technical development. If you would some 1-1 training or pad work please contact us.

Mike Oakley

Qualified Level 1 England Boxing Coach Mike has 15 years in the health & fitness industry and an avid boxing fan, Mike focuses on the strength and conditioning of the boxers.

Want more of a 1 on 1 training session? Mike can offer 1-2-1 boxing training and pad work. Mike is also a qualified Personal Trainer so can get you fighting fit in no time.

Kalvin Matharu

Qualified Level 1 England Boxing Coach Kalvin, starting boxing at the age of 15 and has trained at a number of different Gyms around the coast. Kalvin has had numerous fights and at the age of 28 earned the title of Adur Senior Boxer of the year 2008-2009. With 19 years of experience in boxing, in 2014 Kalvin turned his talents to coaching and has been doing so ever since.

Want more of a 1 on 1 training session? Kalvin can offer 1-2-1 boxing training and pad work.

Peak is suituated in Peak Physique in worthing. The gym is always full of PT’s and other forms of fitness other than Boxing.
